Nominations: Week
4 - Wednesday 17th June 2003
Fed
out first, then Jon
Federico - 5
votes Jon - 5 votes Cameron - 4 votes Ray - 2 votes Scott - 1
vote Tania - 1 vote
Cameron Jon: "I don't think that everything
goes wrong in the house is a design fault, it's chiefly the criticism aspect
that's bugging me. I don't go big on negativity."
Fed: "Fed's usually given a very high percentage to bet on the food budget and
yet it seems to me that he doesn't put in the equivalent percentage effort on
the task. This week he gave 100% and I don't think he's giving
100%."
Federico Tania: "Mainly because
of Saturday night in the reward room and the dampness she put on the affair.
I've noticed the way before she reacts to completely innocent comments. She'll
pretend to be offended at things which make no sense." Cameron: "It's been hard and I've been racking my brains, but in the end I
apologise but I had to vote for Cameron. I find it hard to relate to him at
times. I picked him out because at times he cn switch from being prudish to
fatherly. That's just his nature but that's the
reason."
Gos Fed: "Some of the comments
that he came out with about how he can't trust women, I didn't agree with.
That's all I can really think of saying. I just think it was a little bit out of
order what he said." Scott: "It's like when, say, we
lose the task. He analyses it a bit too much, sort of thing." When pressed for
more, he added: "If we lose a task, he goes on a little bit too much about what
we could have done. That can sometimes be a bit
annoying."
Jon Fed: "I thought we might
as well and restore balance to the house so I'm nominating two boys this week.
He's stated quite openly and honestly that it doesn't matter to him whether he
stays or goes. I know he's quite keen to beat my record of three nominations and
no eviction so I say give the man a chance. On occasion he's quite
confrontational with his conversational style and gets people's backs
up." Ray: "Ray does tease some members of the
household, and Tania in partic has been on the receiving end. I always think
it's a delicate balance, you can't push teasing too far before it becomes
hurtful."
Nush Fed: "Whenever I go into
the toilet after him, he's a really frothy dark pee. He never flushes and leaves
the seat up when he sprinkles. That is my full and frank reason, there's nothing
to elaborate on. Sometimes.. I tread.. in his pee."
Jon: "Again it's Jon, because we don't sit and talk together very often. I think
I talk more with everyone else. To be honest maybe I shouldn't have picked him.
He's been picked enough as it is and I've just done it again. Can I not pick Jon
now? My original reason was that he didn't do cooking but you won't let me have
that will you? He's very particular about what he likes to eat and he likes his
food, and if you dish him up chickpeas he turns his nose up at
it."
Ray Jon: "We all know Jon's an
intelligent lad, but especially when some of the girls are trying to get a point
across and he doesn't agree with it, he'll shout them down. I've spotted that a
few times." Cameron: "On Wednesday when we got the
chinese and drink from Big Brother, towards the end of it we were playing spin
the bottle, he was kind of looking at us to
disapprove."
Scott Jon: "Again, I'm very
sorry. I just feel we haven't connected, we don't have a laugh. If there's one
person in the household who is likely to cause an argument or disagreement it's
Jon." Cameron: "Cam had a point of view on something,
the bell task, but didn't want to share it with the group. I know full well he
had the same opinion as Jon but didn't back him up. It's nothing out of
cowardice, but I think he did it because he didn't want to upset anyone in the
group."
Steph Fed: "When we were given
the task, I think from his facial expression he pulled, he went for 100%. I
think if he could have got away with it he would have let the person go in the
diary room and bet 100% without telling the rest of the group." Ray: "I've picked Ray because of his fiery nature. If I can go back
to the week when we did the cub scouts, there was myself, Federico and Scott
that did the last part of the challenge. Neither one of us knew who had cocked
up and Ray wanted to find out who have failed. I don't think that was very fair
because it was a group task."
Tania
Cameron: "I feel that I'm more comfortable having a conversation with other
housemates.. oh my god, I sound like such a bitch. Maybe we don't have anything
in common. I feel that I only really get involved with Cameron as a housemate
when we're playing a game or in the reward room on a Saturday. I don't feel I
really speak to him other than those times. I can't tell you anything else
because I'd be lying." Jon: "I just feel sometimes
when we do tasks he can portray a bit too much authority and be a bit
overpowering."
