Tasks:
Day 16 9pm - Saturday
night task - Pass the Parcel
The housemates are all gathered around the dining table, BB calls someone to the
diary room and Tania goes to collect a large blue parcel and an envelope. She
returns and tells everyone not to get excited; 'it's gotta be pass the parcel',
Ray and Steph says. Tania opens the envelope and reads the task
sheet; it is a pass the parcel game, BB will play music into the house and each burst will last for 20 seconds. Each housemate has to
remove one layer and answer a question to win the prize; 'each housemate
answering will become a winner and each answering incorrectly has to stay at the
dining table'. No housemate may interfere in any other's question; usual BB quiz
rules apply and any disputes as to possession of the parcel must be resolved by
the housemates. 9.12pm: Everyone sits down and BB announces that the game
will begin in 20 secs; they countdown... and the parcel is passed round to some
jolly oompah music. Jon gets it first when the music stops, unwraps the parcel
and looks for the question; the question is "in Monopoly, how much money do you
collecty when you pass go?" He answers £200 and gets it right; he runs in a very
comedic way back to the sofa. 9.14pm: The music begins again and the
housemates sing along and clap too; Steph gets the parcel next. 'How many cards
in there in each suit in a deck of cards?' is the question; whispering is heard
and she guesses 14; the answer is 13, so she's wrong. The music begins again;
Ray is next to get the parcel when the music stops. 9.15pm: 'In bingo,
which number is represented by clickety click?' I think the answer is 66, Ray
thinks it's five and he's wrong. 'That was a hard one', Fed says as the next
person to get the parcel is... Cameron! 'In scrabble, what is the face value of
the letter X?', he guesses 8, is correct and jumps off before hugging Jon at the
sofa. 9.17pm: Another round begins; Fed and Scott hold the parcel, with
Fed conceding to Scott, who concedes it back to Fed. 'What is the technical name
of a person who plays tiddly winks?' That's quite a hard question; he guesses 'a
winker' (!) and he's right! What a fluke! He dives onto the sofa.
9.18pm: The parcel is passed around again and it's Gos's go; 'in the
game of chess, which piece is between the rook and bishop?', He guesses knight
correctly and makes his way diving to the sofa; the four winners jump up in the
lounge. BB announces that the challenge will continue shortly; 'advertisement'
says Nush, and she's right. So far, Jon, Gos,
Cameron and Fed have won, Steph and Ray have lost and the others haven't had a
go yet. 9.24pm: Back to the house; Gos says that his chess answer was
'logical' as Nush states 'we want to go in' and Ray takes some of the streamers
in his hand; 'you never know', Scott says as Nush says she might 'crap in the
middle of the living room'. The challenge will start in ten seconds... 'bring it
home', Jon says and the music begins again; Tania has the parcel. 9.26pm:
The question is 'on a standard 6 sided dice, which number is opposite to 2?' She
doesn't know, guesses 5 and big cheers come from the winners - she's right! She
whoops and jumps before joining the winners at the sofa; 'it's so scary now',
Sissy says and Nush agrees. The music begins again... 9.27pm: It's
Scott's turn; 'you are a winner, you may choose another housemate to take with
you'... good stuff - I think he'll choose a girl... he has one minute to decide
and he chooses Nush. They both get clapped, Nush cuddles Ray and she and Scott
join the winners. 'Poor Ray!', Jon says as the winners congratulate each other.
'I knew I would be the only one again', Ray says as Sissy comments that 'I'm
going to bed'; she seems quite disgruntled. 9.29pm: The winning
housemates open the box; Cameron reads the instructions - the losers must stay
at the dining table, the winners should stay at the sofas, they should go to the
hidden room, effectively. Sissy looks quite upset as Tania whoops and cheers;
Cameron reads the rest of the instructions. 9.30pm: Cameron looks
sheepish and cheers, while Nush says 'it's horrible' and Jon says 'poor Ray';
Sissy says she was the only one who never got a question. The winners go to the
hidden room and Ray tells them to enjoy it; the door opens and it's changed.
It's blue with a ton of balloons and sweets, a retro games machine is there and
Scott looks a bit underwhelmed. They've even got Buckaroo! Cameron reads the
reward room instructions. 9.32pm: Sissy is shown looking rather miffed;
the winners open the hatch to bottles of beer and Fed quietens them down. The
three losers say they're not bothered about the video game, which is a VR one by
the sounds of it; the game is a karate chop one as Jon assumes the position. Jon
starts the game which I can't see; 'f***ing dying for some beers!', Fed says as
the losers listen at the door. 'Don't be so stupid!', Steph tells a rather upset
Sissy; notably more upset than Ray, who hasn't been in the hidden room once and
she has.
So who will win next weeks
task?
Day 13 - Cub Task
Five housemates will
have to take the knot test - each housemate has to choose
a knot from five sealed envelope, and they must tie
the knot they have to do in one minute, with everyone
having to get their knots right. Three housemates to
do the Scout membership test has one question to answer.
they have one minute to answer and the first answer
given is final. All three housemates have to answer
correctly; the tent test, the knot test, the membership
test is the order in which they will have to do the
test.

The tent test has started,
Jon Cameron and justine - ha ha, what a fun combination!
They seem to be doing ok, will they pass???Cameron seems
to be the boss so far, looking slightly dangerous, whacking
the pegs in the ground! Jon seems pretty quiet, maybe
he knows that Justine hates the sound of his voice?
Justine has just commented that Camerons pegs are not
in a straight line, he he. They are now moving them.
The others are all locked in the house, and cannot do
anything till this part of the task has finished. Jon
is having a few problems, him and justine are so funny,
there is obviously some friction there.
Jon seems to have now
taken over, and everything is going to plan, hopefully.
The tent now seems to leaning over quite a bit.
I remember putting up
tents at guide camp, god it caused some arguements!!
so it should be fun watching this, especially if they
fail on the tent bit, who will be blamed?
They are having discussions
that the tent is not in the right place and is not tight
enough etc. All Justine is doing is saying whats wrong
with it. Jon and Cameron are doing most of the work.
They are going round and round, it making sure its all
in the right place, moving the ropes, and then it makes
another rope wrong, and fixing that one! could go on
forever!
It's nearly finished,
thankgod! The others are all inside practising for the
next parts of the task. Sissy has been helping Tanya
with the knots - little does Sissy know how Tanya feels
about her really!!!
They just need to hammer
in the brailings (not sure what they are?) they are
only pounding them half way till they make sure they
are in the right place! god, how long does it take???
They are still going
on about the ropes not being in line with each other.
wow, Jon says it's perfect, is it over?? no, not quite
yet! nearly 2 hours so far to put a plastic see through
tent up, are they mad?
They are not sure if
they have to take the tent down when its finished, and
have asked bb, but no reply yet! Jesus they are still
going, is this bit looking a bit wrong etc, ITS FINE!
Ok, they have finished,
they are all happy !! YEAHH!!
Rope Task - they have
to go into the diary room for this, (we cannot see or
hear anything) Sissy first, then Tanya, (who was
still learning before she went in!) she said it went
alright, she did the sheepshank knot. Steph keeps telling
everyone not to talk, incase they fail because of it.
next is Ray, then Nush, then Gos is last. Did they pass??
hopefully we shall find out soon, and I will add all
the stuff they did when we see it tomorrow on C4.
The Cub/Scout history
task - Fed has gone in for the first question, everyone
clapped and cheered when he came out. Scott in next,
and then Steph. now it is finally over!
Result of task -
all parades were
completed correctly, in the time limit. the tent test passed, very neat. knot
test, all done correctly, cub memeber ship test, 1 question was answered
incorrectly! Therefore they have FAILED the task!!! oh no!!!!!!
they will have £33 to spend on next weeks food! ha ha ha ha, i am so
laughing at this result!!!!!
Fed officially failed the
task, saying the cub scout promise instead of the Law!
